The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdullah Jara, President of the African French Arab University, and the Director of the American University (GTU). This step stems from the belief of both universities' administrations in the necessity of unifying efforts in the fields of higher education and scientific research, exchanging expertise, and creating accredited educational opportunities that keep pace with the requirements of the labor market. Objectives and Terms of the Agreement: Both parties agreed on a package of strategic terms that serve students and researchers, the most prominent of which are: International Representation: The American University (GTU) acts as a partner and representative of the African French Arab University in Turkey, America, Europe, and the Arab world (including the Syria and Middle East branch). Program Unification: Unifying educational programs according to the (Bachelor's – Master's – Doctorate) system approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with mutual accreditation of both universities' offices. Expertise Exchange: Facilitating the exchange of professors, students, and expertise in cultural and academic fields. Accreditation and Graduation: Facilitating the accreditation and issuance of certificates for graduates who have completed graduation requirements and passed the exams and defenses. Admission and Registration Mechanism: The agreement allows students wishing to register, pursue postgraduate studies, bridging programs, or complete courses, to obtain a certificate from the African French Arab University after the completion of their academic stage. A copy of the passport or national ID. A personal photo. A health certificate. A copy of the birth certificate to indicate nationality. A submitted written application.
